The Aussies say, “Whether it’s a birthday party, the opening of Parliament, or the launch of a new art gallery, there is no Australian event that cannot be improved by a sausage sizzle on the barbeque.” Australians favourite summer social is a well-done barbeque, and they spend practically every summer in a park, garden or beach holding a pair of tongs, blithely turning the snags of fish and meat they have spent all summer fishing and hunting.
